Maggie & Anna have spent the last few years working with non profits; sailing the world's oceans researching micro plastic pollution. Their work took them to remote communities where the human footprint was most evident, to educate people on the the value of a circular economy. They have travelled all over the world, tasted the local cuisines and learned a lot about the culture of food. What they found was a lack of focus on food miles. Anna grew up on the farm and Maggie worked as a barista and restaurant manager in Melbourne, Australia. They and are now taking their experience and passion for excellent coffee and exceptional food back to the farm where they aim to celebrate the local community and their produce.
